Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating, but you will find the people at The Presbyterian Church in Needham to be warm and friendly. Here is what you can expect on your first visit:

• Greeters will meet you at the front and back doors each Sunday morning. You will be asked to wear a nametag and you will see many of our members wearing theirs since it makes it easier to greet each other.
• Children are welcome to stay with their parents during the service, but our Sunday School is a lot of fun with music, drama and art and many of the children prefer to go to class. You can meet the Sunday School teachers in their classrooms before the service. Be sure and tell them if your child has any food allergies as we often have a small snack.
• We have a Crib Room that is staffed during the service. Some parents prefer to stay with their babies - so we have an intercom that allows everyone in the crib room to listen to the service. Children in the pre-school through grade 5 stay upstairs in the sanctuary until the children's sermon and are then dismissed to their Sunday School rooms with their teachers.
• You will see a wide variety of clothing styles at the church. Wear whatever you are comfortable wearing.
• Our Service is a traditional service with hymns, prayer and a sermon. Examples of the bulletin can be found on our media page.
• We gather for fellowship time after the service. This is a great time to meet our minister, Rev. Elliott Hipp or to talk to members of the congregation.
