A Community of Faith, Hope and Love

We are a Community of Faith. We are gathered by God’s holy presence in the world and we are seeking to connect with that presence to find meaning for our lives and guidance for each day. Our tools are the ancient stories of the Bible, the modern thoughts of writers and philosophers, the weekly celebration of worship, and the disciplines of prayer and spirituality.

We welcome questioners.

We are a Community of Hope. In a terrifying and bewildering world, we do not accept that terror and confusion are the final answers. We dare to believe that God has other plans for us and for creation, plans which are reflected in the life and teaching of Jesus of Nazareth. We do not expect his stories to give us every answer, but we know that in them we have found assurance and strength.

We welcome the disheartened.

We are a Community of Love. When Faith and Hope come together, the product is Love: God’s amazing love for us, and the love that we share with each other. This is a place where everyone belongs, where everyone is cherished, and where we are serious about caring for our neighbors, especially the weak and poor. No one is a stranger here for long.

We welcome people who want to belong.
