Welcome to our Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization.

Everyone is invite to join the effort to build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with those who lack adequate shelter.

Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 175, 000 houses, providing shelter for nearly 900,000 people worldwide. Now at work in 100 countries, we are building a house every 26 minutes. By 2005, Habitat houses will be sheltering 1 million people.

The Needham Interfaith Clergy Association has been sponsoring an effort to build affordable housing in Needham for several years. To date (10/1/04), the committee has raised approximately $40000. To actually accomplish the completion of the project, several events will need to happen: 1) raise approximately $100000, 2) realize a donation of land, 3) have a sufficient group of volunteers that will be involved in helping to build the house.
